Aloft By Marriott Chesapeake Hotel

Clean place accompanied by responsive staff. Brand-new room with a refrigerator and the carpet beside the bed, as for instance for an ENJOYABLE stay especially during holidays.

The staff were very friendly in the whole hotel. The location was perfect, just off the city centre of Norfolk/Portsmouth, Chesapeake and the shopping area and center of Cheasapeake. Furthermore, close to many restaurants and shopping.

I appreciated the room with breakfast.

The bar area was a laid-back spot to unwind with some drinks after a day of exploring, and I snagged some bomb hot dogs nearby at The Skinny Dip Greenbrier. The staff was also super cute and genuinely cared about my experience!

Everything would have been stellar if the heat in our room had been working. We called the front desk multiple times, and while they were super nice, it just didn't come together until late in the night.

The pool was a nice escape on a chilly day, and the modern decor of the hotel was quite appealing!

I didn't like the bathroom set up. The room was impossible to be alone in the bathroom as the sliding door was almost like not having a door.

The room had a mini fridge and microwave. The indoor swimming pool was a nice way to relax. The fitness center was well maintained. Everyone was super friendly, especially the woman at the front desk who helped us with info about the area. A great place for a little getaway!

I had an amazing stay! The events in the lobby were so much fun, especially Jazz night! My room was clean and spacious, just like in the photos. I definitely want to return!

We hit up some fantastic restaurants nearby and loved exploring the local shops. The indoor bar area was super nice, perfect for hanging out after a day of sightseeing.

One thing to note is that a few friends mentioned the A/C didn't quite keep up in their room, made things a bit uncomfortable after being out all day.

The kids loved the pool area, and it was convenient having a mini fridge to store snacks for the little ones.

My kids wished the hotel had a larger play area for them to enjoy. Having more family-friendly activities would really improve the experience.

The gym was excellent with great equipment. The room lacked basic amenities and had cleanliness issues.

I loved my stay here because not only was the staff super friendly, but I was also just a short walk from Chesapeake Arboretum and Greenbrier Mall, making it easy to explore the beautiful park views and shop around town to my heart's content before heading back to my room.

The Aloft experience was commendable, with a convenient location for business needs, a comfortable and clean room, and a friendly staff that promptly addressed my requests. Various amenities like a lively bar and a well-equipped fitness center added value to my stay.
